The historic Walnut Neighborhood, listed on the National Registry of Historic Places and bordering the northeast edge of downtown Waterloo. The Walnut Neighborhood Housing Coalition identified the overall neighborhood redevelopment plan to promote fair, decent, affordable, mixed income, & historically preserved housing in the neighborhood.

The Church Row Neighborhood is located between W 6th street and US 63 and extends from Hwy 218 to Kimball Ave (6 Corners). The neighborhood is home to approximately 1483 housing units including owner occupied homes, rental homes, and apartments. We believe the greatest asset is the residents who call this neighborhood home.
